In House Capability

Addison Project was established in 1997 with the acquisition of the former ICI Hillhouse Projects Group.

We are a leading independent, in-house provider of multi-disciplined engineering services. Offering the full range of “cradle to grave”, project design & construction management services including EPCM, HSSEQ and day to day technical support.

What do we do?

With increased focus on managing projects safely to budgets and reduced timescales, the pressures facing most companies today are complex and challenging. With internal resources pushed to their maximum, it is difficult to channel resources into development and growth. Without attention to these essential goals, even the best of businesses will struggle to cope with today’s supply and demand challenges.

Whether in Design or Delivery, we are experts in the engineering project management field. We provide bespoke services tailored around your needs and those of your business. Ranging from minor works to full multi-million pound EPCM investments, the use of external support will give you a more genuine assessment of risks and greater control. We will identify potential problem areas at the design stage before they have an impact on the delivery of your project. Advanced corrective action means greater flexibility and gives us opportunities to consider alternative solutions. We will work as an extension of your own team.

Our capabilities are broad, Construction Design Management (CDM), Safety, Health & Environment, Sustainability and Quality (HSSEQ) direction and commissioning and start-up are part of our services. We continually develop and refine our UKAS accredited systems, procedures and specifications for the management and control of engineering, procurement, construction of process and industrial facilities worldwide.

From In-House, our design and delivery services span all the disciplines.

What disciplines can we cover?

We have established a reputation for innovative design, flexibility, attention to detail, value for money and excellence in customer service in the design, engineering and management of a range of projects and services in a variety of industries. The disciplines that we cover include; Civil, Structural, Mechanical, EC&I, Process, and SHE.

Through our ICI background our original work was unsurprisingly based on the chemical process industry and the services required by those plants.

Since our establishment in 1997 we have been able to steadily grow the industries that we serve and without losing any focus of our key strengths. Over the years we have gained experience working in process led industries including Nuclear, Power, Utilities, Pharmaceutical, Food, Brewing, Paper, Waste, Soap & Detergents, Oil, Energy and Glass. In each instance we have satisfied the varying standards and specifications and in doing so been able to transfer learning from one industry to another.
