Rospa Order of Distinction

Addison Project Plc has received a RoSPA Order of Distinction Health and Safety Award for working hard to ensure its workforce, sub-contracting partners and Client’s get home safely to their families at the end of every working day. This Order of Distinction is issued for 24 years of consecutive Gold awards and recognises the high level of attention to Health and Safety demonstrated by Addison.

Organisations receiving a RoSPA Award are recognised as being world-leaders in health and safety practice. Every year, nearly 2,000 entrants vie to achieve the highest possible accolade in what is the UK’s longest-running H&S industry awards.


Lloyds ISO 9001 Quality Management systems

ISO 9001 has been adopted by over 1 million organisations across the world and is used by businesses in order to continually monitor, manage and improve the quality of products and services.

The ISO 9001 Standard is a powerful business improvement tool, providing the framework and guidance we need to help us consistently meet our customer’s expectations and regulatory requirements.


Lloyds NERS

Addison Project has been awarded Full Accreditation against the National Electricity Registration Scheme. This accreditation enables us to undertake the following work activities:

  • Construction: Civil Works, Cable Jointing (LV Live, LV Dead)
  • Network Connections- Jointing (LV Mains and Services, Unmetered)
  • Unmetered Connections

Lloyd’s National Electricity Registration Scheme (NERS) is operated on behalf of the UK Distribution Network Operators (DNOs). This works to assess the service of companies who provide electrical services in terms of their technical activities and performance.

Once a company has been approved as meeting the NERS standards they become a NERS provider which is also known as an Independent Connection Provider (ICP). This accreditation is highly beneficial as in a greatly populated competitive market, NERS providers stand out to clients, as they are aware that they have gained extra recognition for their high quality services and professionalism.


Safecontractor

SafeContractor is an accreditation provided by Alcumus, who are a leading provider of risk management, certification and accreditation services with over 27,000 members. It is all about showing that we put our employees’ health and safety first. Our SafeContractor accreditation was driven by us practicing a uniform standard across the business. 

To achieve the SafeContractor Approved status, a business must prove that they are a safe and responsible company. This involves ensuring that all paperwork is complaint with current legislation and that processes are in place to ensure health and safety is handled in the best way possible.

By using SafeContractor, the customer can be assured that their service supplier is committed to sustainable and ethical practices whilst demonstrating that they comply with the up-to-date health and safety standards.


Achilles UVDB Verify

Achilles UVDB Verify is an independent audit of an organisation’s Safety, Health, Environment, Quality (SHEQ) management systems and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). By undertaking the assessment process, suppliers and contractors will gain a clear understanding of the industry’s qualification requirements. Addison project has a Silver Plus membership.


Nepic Membership

Addison are a member of NEPIC, a not-for-profit organisation that supports the needs and interests of the chemical-processing sector in the North East of England. Essentially, they exist to ensure industry in this region thrives – and that they have investments, innovations and a network that will create jobs and opportunities long into the future.

By working closely with member companies, NEPIC forge meaningful business relationships that allow them to identify opportunities, facilitate connections, promote collaboration and enable growth. They also actively work beyond their traditional stakeholder base with universities, research institutes and public bodies to leverage additional value for the sector.

Chemicals Northwest Membership

Addison Project are members of Chemicals Northwest, the industry-led, chemical cluster support organisation for the North West and surrounding areas chemical sector. They are funded by their members and owned and supported by the Chemical Industries Association. They support and promote the interests and activities of the chemistry-using industries.
