Mark Verdon

Precision Managing Director


Mark joined Addison Precision in April 2019, bringing with him over 34 years of engineering and manufacturing experience. Beginning his career as a time-served CNC machinist, he has built extensive expertise across the engineering sector, from SME subcontract manufacturers through to senior supply chain and purchasing roles with Rolls-Royce Civil Aerospace. As Managing Director, Mark is responsible for leading the continued growth and development of Addison Precision, driving investment in people, technology and capability while ensuring the highest standards of quality and customer service. His broad industry knowledge, commercial insight and passion for engineering excellence play a key role in supporting customers across the aerospace, defence and precision engineering sectors.

Ray Lynch

Precision Account Manager

One of Addison Precision’s longest-serving team members, Ray joined the business in 1989 and has been an integral part of its success ever since. Beginning his career manufacturing gas turbine blades, vanes and bespoke machine tools, he built a strong technical foundation that continues to underpin his work today. Throughout his career at Addison, Ray has progressed through a variety of roles, gaining extensive experience across manufacturing, operations and  management before moving into his current position as Senior Account Manager for the Aerospace sector. This broad understanding of the business enables him to work closely with customers, providing practical engineering solutions and ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards. With decades of industry knowledge and a genuine commitment to building long-term client relationships, Ray is trusted for his technical expertise, customer-focused approach and dedication to delivering exceptional service.

Jayne Jackson

Supply Chain Lead

With nearly two decades at Addison Precision, Jayne has become an integral member of the team, bringing extensive experience in procurement, supply chain management and customer support. Having started her career in the injection moulding industry, she has developed a broad commercial and operational understanding that has been instrumental in her progression within the business. Today, Jayne oversees all procurement and supply chain activities, ensuring materials and services are sourced efficiently to support the successful delivery of projects. She also plays a key role in client account management, building strong relationships with customers and suppliers while providing essential support to the senior leadership team. Known for her organised approach, attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional service, Jayne is dedicated to ensuring projects run smoothly and that clients receive the high standards of quality and reliability Addison Engineering is known for.

Ian Benson

Production Manager

Ian is our Production Manager and brings over 42 years of manufacturing experience, including extensive expertise in aerospace detail manufacturing. A time-served engineer, he has spent more than 35 years programming CNC machine tools and developing efficient production plans to support high-quality manufacturing. Six Sigma trained, Ian has a strong focus on process optimisation, waste reduction and continuous improvement, ensuring manufacturing operations are as efficient and effective as possible. In 2018, his commitment to operational excellence was recognised with a Business Leader Award for his work on the F-35 programme. With a proven track record in production planning, team leadership, process improvement and health and safety compliance, Ian is passionate about developing people as well as processes. His supportive leadership style encourages ownership, continuous learning and professional growth, helping teams achieve exceptional standards of quality and performance.

Steve Grimley

Quality Manager

Steve joined Addison Precision in 2023 as a Quality Engineer, bringing with him over 40 years of engineering and manufacturing experience. He began his career in 1979 as a Power Press Setter, supplying components to manufacturers including Austin Rover, Freight Rover and Land Rover. Throughout his career, Steve has worked across a variety of industries, including gear manufacturing, firearms and aerospace. Before joining Addison Precision Steve spent 12 years at Spirit AeroSystems in Prestwick as a First Article Manager. In March 2026, he was promoted to Quality Manager, where he now leads the company’s quality function, ensuring the highest standards of compliance and customer satisfaction.

Marcus Addison

Chief Executive Officer

Marcus has been a key part of the Addison Group since the Project business was established in 1997 and now leads the Group as CEO. With a strong background in contract and cost management, he brings significant commercial expertise and plays an important role in shaping major client agreements and wider business strategy. Marcus remains closely involved in the day-to-day running of the business and maintains a strong customer-facing presence across the group. He is passionate about fostering a positive culture and strong company ethos, underpinned by high standards, integrity and accountability. Marcus is also a strong advocate for sustainable business practices, ensuring that growth is delivered responsibly while supporting both our people and the long-term needs of our clients. His leadership, experience and values continue to be a driving force behind Addison’s ongoing success. 

Cyril Clark

Financial Director

Cyril joined the Addison Group in March 2016 and has been a key member of the senior leadership team ever since. An FCCA-qualified accountant with over a decade of experience in senior financial leadership, he brings a wealth of commercial and strategic expertise to the business.Before joining Addison, Cyril worked as a Client Manager for a large Chartered Accountancy Practice, managing a diverse portfolio of SME clients with turnovers of up to £50 million. This broad experience across multiple industries has given him a strong commercial understanding and the ability to support sustainable business growth.As Finance Director, Cyril oversees the Group’s financial strategy, reporting and governance, ensuring the business maintains strong financial controls while supporting investment, operational performance and long-term growth. Working closely with the leadership team, he provides strategic financial insight that helps drive informed decision-making across the Group.Known for his approachable nature and attention to detail, Cyril plays a vital role in supporting the continued success and development of the Addison Group.

Emma Guthrie

HR & Learning and Development Manager

Emma joined Addison in 2022 as the HR & Learning and Development Coordinator and quickly progressed into the Group Management role, reflecting her commitment to driving positive change across the business. Since joining, Emma has played a key role in enhancing HR processes, procedures and practices, helping to create a more efficient and consistent employee experience. She also led the development of the internal Addison Academy, a structured eLearning platform that supports employee onboarding, mandatory training and ongoing professional development. Alongside overseeing the internal learning platform, she has been instrumental in the development of Addison Academy’s external training provision. With a passion for both HR and learning and development, Emma is dedicated to encouraging a positive workplace culture, supporting employee growth and ensuring people have the tools, knowledge and opportunities to succeed. She is committed to delivering fair, consistent and compliant HR practices that support both employees and the wider business.

Sophie Addison

ESG and Marketing Director

Sophie has been a valued member of the Addison Group for many years, providing support across marketing, ESG and a range of wider business functions. With a strong creative background spanning education and marketing, she leads initiatives to enhance brand visibility across the group and plays a key role in the ongoing development of the Addison Academy. Sophie also supports wider business development activity, bringing energy, insight and a highly collaborative approach. A passionate advocate for ESG, she helps shape and promote the Group’s responsible and sustainable practices. Known for her positivity and problemsolving mindset, Sophie is committed to championing the team’s capabilities and delivering consistently high standards.
