Addison Group is proud to announce the release of our first-ever Sustainability and Impact Report – a landmark publication that reflects the Group’s ongoing commitment to doing business responsibly, and with purpose.
Our inaugural report marks a significant milestone for Addison Group, as it represents the first time we have shared our sustainability journey in such a detailed and personal way. More than a record of progress, our report is a new way of communicating the positive impact the business is making – both within the organisation and in the wider world.
Structured around four key pillars: Environment, People, Innovation and Community, the report showcases Addison Group’s values-led approach to sustainability. These pillars form the backbone of the Group’s ambitions, which are also closely aligned to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs).
“Our first Sustainability and Impact Report is an opportunity to share the real stories, progress, and aspirations that define who we are,” said Addison Group CEO, Marcus Addison. “We wanted to go beyond the expected. This is an opportunity to show how sustainability is influencing every decision we make, and how it reflects our desire to be a better business.”
As a family business, Addison Group has long embedded responsibility and integrity into the way we operate. Our new report highlights that ethos with achievements across all areas of the business, including:
- Progress towards the Group’s Net Zero by 2050 commitment, including a complete switch to 100% renewable energy tariffs.
-
Investment in people, with first-hand stories from participants in the Group’s graduate scheme.
-
Digital transformation, enabling smarter, more sustainable ways of working across the Group.
-
Giving back to the community, including a £25,000 donation to support veterans and their families.
Importantly, our report not only captures what has already been achieved but also lays out the Group’s sustainability goals for 2030, offering a clear and transparent roadmap for the future.
Addison Group’s Sustainability and Impact Report is a true reflection of our belief that positive change begins from within – but is also driven by collaboration and accountability. As customer expectations continue to evolve, we welcome greater scrutiny across supply chains, seeing it as an opportunity to learn, improve and grow.
We invite our colleagues, customers, suppliers and partners to read the report and be part of the ongoing journey. “We hope our progress inspires others,” said Marcus Addison. “And we’re excited about what we can achieve together.”
