In this highly specialist field, Addison Engineering has welding procedures and approvals from some of the major independent third party inspection authorities, including Lloyds, Royal Sun Alliance and Zurich, amongst others.
Skilled and Adaptable
We are experienced in the various recognised methods of welding and techniques including TIG, MIG, MMA and stick. We are skilled in working with the various standard materials including carbon steel (API 5l & A106), stainless steel (304L, 316L & 321), Inconel 825, Monel 400, Hasteloy C276, Duplex UNS S31803 and Incoloy 625. We also specialise in working with low temperature Carbon Steel (A333).
A recent extension to our range of services is the design and manufacture of pressure vessels, heat exchangers and tanks, along with repairs to existing plant items. New equipment can either be non-pressurised plant or manufactured to current pressure equipment standards including PD 5500, ASME VIII, TEMA and tankage to BS 2654.
We are also proficient in working with materials such as UPVC, Polypropylene and PVDF and carry welding qualifications where required.
Fabrication can either be carried out at our purpose-built facility in Thornton Cleveleys, Lancashire (near Blackpool) or at your site; whichever is more convenient.
