End of year pushes for revenue and planning for the future is something that most businesses do. After another solid year for Addison Project, we also looked to cement our position in the market and ensure that the building blocks were in place to help deliver our strategic growth going forwards.
This strategy saw Addison make two significant Engineering Director appointments, both in the North West and North East. Firstly, in order to bolster the team at our long established Hillhouse office, incidentally celebrating it’s 25th anniversary since the acquisition from ICI, David McMahon stepped up from his Project Manager role to take over from Richard Horrocks. Richard himself stepped across to head up our QA department as the growth of the business sees this take on increasing importance.
In addition, changes in our North East operation led to the promotion of Alex Thompson from his Senior Process Lead role into the Engineering Director position in the Middlesbrough office. Alex will bring a fresh impetus regionally and will work to guide our growing team as new projects kick off in the first quarter of 2023.
It is anticipated that 2023 will see further appointments as the business continues to increase it’s market share across the Petrochemical, Pharmaceutical and Oil & Gas sectors, together with the moves into other process areas. Whilst the marketplace is challenging, we fully believe that we have the building blocks in place to achieve further success.
