Kieran Butler, one of the successes of our Graduate Engineering programme, has played at Scrum Half for local Rugby Union club Thornton Cleveleys since 2017. He was a key member of the squad that recently won the Papa Johns National Community Cup.

Founded in 1927, Thornton Cleveleys Rugby Club is approaching its remarkable 100th anniversary. “Going in low and hard since 1927”, embodying the core values of rugby: strength, determination, and unwavering commitment.
More than just a club, they’re a tight-knit family that values camaraderie, respect, and sportsmanship.
These values fit very closely with those of Addison, and we were keen to support Kieran in his sporting endeavours as much as those at work. We don’t doubt that his personality as a typical half back on the field gives him the confidence in the office! We believe that the two go hand-in-hand and wish him and the club well for the coming season.
