Repeatability
Highly polished
Using our bespoke designed and internally manufactured machine tools, we super-finish spherical diameters to a very highly polished surface finish (up to 1.5 µ micro inches) whilst achieving a roundness tolerance of 0.0001” in hard and soft materials.
The finished components are used in aerospace and commercial applications where contact fatigue needs to be kept to a minimum, reducing friction, enabling the bearing surface to run cooler and faster whilst increasing the lifespan and durability of the component.
