Over the last couple of weeks, and through into this week, we have been joined at Addison offices by army Mass Testing Teams from 6 Regiment RLC, who are supporting Wyre Borough Council and Lancashire County Council in the role out of the Mass Lateral Flow testing. We also had a visit this week from MP Paul Maynard and his Chief of staff Simon Renwick, who were very impressed with how we have embraced this testing at our facilities the professional manner in which it is being run.
This testing goes hand in hand with our current in-house, strict Covid-19 measures, and assists us that bit further in being able to detect infectious asymptomatic individuals and protect each other.
We are very grateful for this provision, and impressed at the professional delivery of the testing by the army teams involved. We now have many members of our own staff that have been passed off as fully qualified to continue testing as an in-house provision when the army is redeployed and training where necessary. We have also received very high praise indeed from the army teams on our engagement and competency in this training and also with our current, stringent Covid-19 measures. They actually said we are the best company they have visited with regards to our Covid procedures and undertaking in our training !
