As we move forward with our growth plans and successfully deliver projects to both existing and new clients we are keen to recruit a Mechanical / Piping Section Lead to add to our established team. Based at our Head Office in Thornton-Cleveleys you will lead our Mechanical / Piping Team in all activities and be at the forefront of client relations.

The Role
Leading a team of highly motivated and customer focused Mechanical / Piping Engineers and Designers you will ensure the team are allocated and supported in their daily activities. Ensuring all work is completed on time and to budget you will liaise with the Engineering Directors to promote work share between all of our offices, allocating resources accordingly.
Taking a hands on role you will not only lead the team you will be part of it, leading from the front and overseeing the current, future and potential projects for your section. You will attend relevant kick off meetings, ensure pre start briefs are in place and communicated to the design teams. Communication is key within Addison and something we take great care in ensuring prevails in everything we do, this will be second nature to you as will adherence to Addison and Industry Quality standards.
We could list here all duties and responsibilities but we do things slightly differently at Addison and we don’t like to get bogged down in the detail. We are more about doing things properly, having the right people in place with the right mindset, skills, experience, values and behaviors.
